“The Friends of the St. Johns County Pet Center is an all-volunteer based non-profit (501c3) organization.  We are dedicated to aid and support our local homeless and abandoned animals temporarily housed at our local St. Johns County shelter, the Pet Center.  The Pet Center serves all of St. Johns County and if our only local County-run shelter.
The primary goals of the Friends is to promote the shelter and aid in the adoption of the animals through special events, public outreach, and various programs including adoption sponsorships.  We also strive to enrich the lives of the animals while they are housed at the shelter through various programs.”
